Rachel Rickert is an artist who earned her B.F.A. in Painting at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis in May 2012. With oil paint Rachel explores the human figure as well as traces of human presence, implementing disorienting compositions, and presenting dualities within the body and the world it exists in. She works in a variety of scales, enriching the realism of the image with visible strokes and vibrant color.
